Planet Zoo 2 Price, Editions, and Where to Buy

Current price and official stores

Frontier’s official Buy page lists suggested retail prices (SRP) of £39.99 / $49.99 / €49.99 for Standard and £54.99 / $64.99 / €64.99 for Deluxe. These are the published SRPs, not a promise that every country or storefront uses the same final price.

On the captured United States storefronts on October 15, 2026, the Standard Edition is $49.99 and Deluxe is $64.99 on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation Store. Your total can differ by country, currency, sales tax, discount, or store promotion. Check the price shown after selecting your account’s own country or region.

For a direct purchase, use Frontier’s Buy page to choose a supported store, or open the official Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, or PlayStation listing. Confirm the platform and edition on the product page before checkout; a PC key will not activate on PlayStation or Xbox, and console purchases are tied to the corresponding platform store.

Standard vs Deluxe

Standard is the base game. Frontier and Steam describe Deluxe as the base game plus the Deluxe Upgrade Pack. That pack adds six animal species and a selection of exclusive animal signs. The US list prices captured here differ by $15.

If you already own Standard, the storefront lists the Deluxe Upgrade Pack as a separate add-on. Steam showed it at $17.99 in the capture, while the platform price may vary elsewhere. Compare the add-on price with the complete Deluxe Edition in your store before paying; do not assume an upgrade costs the difference between the two launch SRPs.

Preorder bonus and post-launch purchase

Planet Zoo 2 launched on October 13, 2026, so the preorder period has ended. The official launch materials described the Bonus Content Pack as a preorder benefit through launch. The current US store listings now show the Bonus Content Pack as a separate $2.99 add-on on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation Store. Check your own store page for the current offer and whether the pack is already included in an edition you own.

Is it included with Game Pass?

The Xbox listing says cloud play is available with Game Pass Essential, Premium, or Ultimate, with game purchase required. That wording does not mean the base game is included in the subscription catalog at no extra charge. Check the Xbox listing in your region and your subscription’s current catalog before relying on cloud play or assuming a subscription includes the license.

Buying a key from another seller

Searches for “Planet Zoo 2 key,” “CD key,” G2A, or Instant Gaming may lead to third-party key sellers or marketplaces. Those are different from the official platform stores linked by Frontier. Before buying elsewhere, verify the seller, the exact platform and edition, your activation region, whether the key is new or restricted, and the seller’s refund terms. A lower advertised price alone does not confirm that a key will activate for your account or that platform support can resolve a seller-side problem.

For the most predictable purchase path, compare the total at checkout in your own region across Frontier’s linked stores. Do not use a price from another country as your local total, and check that the platform logo, edition, and included pack match what you intend to buy.
