Planet Zoo 2 DLC and Expansion Packs

What the current catalogue lists

On the US Steam store page captured on October 15, 2026, Planet Zoo 2 has three add-on entries: Deluxe Upgrade Pack, Bonus Content Pack, and You, Me & Sanctuary, The Music of Planet Zoo 2. The soundtrack is a music release, not a gameplay expansion. Frontier’s Buy page separately names the Deluxe Upgrade Pack and Bonus Content Pack.

This is a dated Steam catalogue snapshot. Store availability and bundles can differ by platform or region, so open your platform’s current Planet Zoo 2 page before buying. Do not count a full-game edition and the upgrade inside it as two separate DLC packs.

What the Deluxe Upgrade adds

The Deluxe Upgrade Pack adds six species: Golden Eagle, Golden Lion Tamarin, Great Hammerhead Shark, Axolotl, Blue and Gold Fusilier, and Longfin Batfish. It also includes exclusive animal signs. Steam describes the Deluxe Edition as bundling the base game with the Deluxe Upgrade Pack; if you already own the base game, compare the upgrade listing with the full edition so you do not buy the base game twice.

Bonus content and the soundtrack

Steam lists the Bonus Content Pack as a separate Planet Zoo 2 add-on. Its short description says it adds content for enhancing and decorating a zoo, but does not itemize the included objects. Check the current product page on your store for the full contents.

The soundtrack, You, Me & Sanctuary, is listed separately. It is music for listening, not additional animals, buildings, or gameplay systems.

How many future packs are planned?

As of October 15, 2026, Frontier’s Buy page and the Steam add-on catalogue do not list a future DLC count or expansion schedule. The Planet Zoo 2 catalogue snapshot also contains no item named “Prehistoric Planet Pack.” Check the product title before buying; an add-on for Zoo Tycoon 2 is not Planet Zoo 2 content.

For new releases, check Frontier’s Buy page, the Planet Zoo 2 Steam add-on catalogue, and your platform’s store. The original Planet Zoo and Zoo Tycoon 2 catalogues are separate games.
